ALUMINET®
ALUMINET acts like a mirror, reflecting the sun's harsh radiation away from
your valuable crops, employees and greenhouse coverings. Due to its
superior reflectability, ALUMINET does not absorb heat like black shade
cloth. Instead, it creates a high quality shade with diffused,
refracted light beneficial to plant health. Because the strands are
twisted, ALUMINET will reflect diffused light from many directions.
Use ALUMINET over garden centers, for a creative merchandising appearance,
as well as over commercial greenhouses and shade structures. ALUMINET
also provides frost protection.
ALUMINET is a
special knitted screen made from metalized HDPE. The fibers are
produced from mono-oriented HDPE, giving the fiber durability and longevity.
After an aluminum metalization process, the films are covered with a special
anti-oxidation coating. The net is knitted into a precise uniform texture.

available in standard widths that may be sewn together to provide the
desired width. Length may generally be any distance. Shade cloth
manufactures/fabricators have the ability to provide shade cloth with custom widths, lengths, tape, grommets, hemmed edges,
and hems for
rope installation. Other custom features, including irregular shapes,
are available and may be
of benefit to you. We welcome the opportunity to assist you with your
