Liquid Chemical Injectors
Chemilizer's
liquid chemical injectors are powered by water-flow, making them the most
environmentally friendly injectors on the market! And since they are
powered by water flow, they will never over treat the water.
Chemilizer's
unique design begins with the water-powered "motor." The motor
utilizes a reliable and durable diaphragm assembly, which is activated by
the flow of water through the body of the injector. The higher the
flow of water through the injector, the faster the diaphragm moves.
The diaphragm assembly follows the water flow, which is one of the reasons
the injectors are known for their unparalleled accuracy.
The next element
of Chemilizer's unique design is the chemical pump assembly. The
positive-displacement pump dispenses a precise amount of chemical solution.
Chemicals are injected after the water has passed through the water motor,
eliminating the potential for chemical deterioration of the water motor.
The action of the chemical pump and resultant volume of injection is
controlled by the diaphragm assembly. This ensures the right amount of
chemical is injected into the water. Never more, never less!
Benefits of
Chemilizer Injectors:
-
High level
of accuracy - due to superior design and construction.
-
Rugged and
durable - due to superior design and corrosion-resistant construction.
-
Simple to
operate - no complicated, electronic menu-driven set up.
-
Easy to
install - use standard plumbing parts that can be obtained at any
hardware, plumbing or home building materials store.
-
Injects
chemicals into the water after it has exited the water motor - uses
natural flow turbulence to thoroughly mix chemicals; does not subject
inner workings and surfaces of injector to chemical deterioration.
-
Easy and
inexpensive to maintain - basic maintenance does not require tools and
can be performed in minutes. Typical maintenance involves the
chemical pump, which can be replaced in under two minutes, and rebuilt for
less than $20.
-
Non-electric
design - saves on electricity costs, eliminates potential for sparks
to ignite chemicals.
-
Environmentally friendly - no emissions of fumes or heat.
-
Cost
effective - significantly lower total cost-of-ownership due to
durability and inexpensive maintenance.
-
Self-priming
chemical pump.
-
Does not
require filtration of the water flow (unless using the CP33 for low volume
injection).
-
No flow
switches required.
-
Easily works
with a wide range of chemical solutions and pH values.
-
NSF/ANSI 50
and 61 certified by the Water Quality Association.
Limitations of
Competitive Injectors:
|
Overall
-
Most
competitive water-powered injectors utilize an internal piston to
power the injector. This requires filtration of the water
prior to it entering the injector, as the piston is easily scarred
by particles in the water.
-
Competitive injectors with piston-design water motors also wear
faster as a result of friction.
-
Most
competitive non-electric injectors actually inject the chemical
solution directly into the body of the injector where it mixes with
the water. This subjects the internal workings of the injector
to chemical deterioration, causing premature wear.
When
compared to the CP33
-
Most
competitive non-electric injectors are strictly proportional.
Those that are "adjustable" typically use preset levels of the
chemical pump. This limits the user to either accepting the
preset level, or having to manually dilute chemical solutions.
It also makes the chemical pump more expensive to replace.
-
Because
most competitive injectors are strictly proportional, the size of
the injectors and their cost increase substantially with the rate of
the water flow.
-
Most
competitive non-electric injectors pass 100% of the water flow
through the injector, requiring a complete system shut-down to
perform maintenance or to replace the injector.
