Greenhouse Window Kits
 |
The greenhouse window is designed to fit on an exterior wall
outside an opening, rather than into the opening as a storm
window does. in calculating the size needed, we suggest you
allow an additional 8"-12" in height and 3"-4" in width of the
window to permit easy installation and the addition of a plant
light at the top of the window, if you choose.
The 18 inch deep model is normally provided with a pan base
and one support per every three rows of glass for strength.
Allow about 24" below the window for the strut. The 36" deep
model is designed to sit on a patio floor or smaller perimeter
flooring with no pan base, rather than hang on a wall as the
18 inch deep model does. If you prefer, the 18" deep model can
be provided in a floor mount model to sit directly on a patio
or other floor with no pan base.
There are no roof vents in the greenhouse window and all
heating and cooling is provided by the office or home system.
Screened storm windows are available for the sides or ends for
cross ventilation. A 12" wide shelf is also available. Call us
