Woven Shade Cloth
PAK’s
field-proven, woven shade fabrics are designed to stand up to the elements.
PAK uses only high density polypropylene resin blended with the best UV
resistant carbon black offered by current technology. The end result is a shade fabric of high
tensile strength, which is able to stand up to a variety of temperature
extremes. PAK's shade fabrics
have a low shrinkage factor and high dimensional stability and are
unaffected by most sprays and chemicals. All these factors combine to give
you one of the most durable outdoor shade fabrics in the world.
Woven Fire Resistant Shade Cloth
Your local code
may require that your shade cloth be fire resistant.
PAK Lock (Woven Heat-Treated) Shade Cloth
PAK Unlimited, Inc. makes
PAK Lock by running their standard woven polypropylene fabric through heated
rollers,
which insures that the shade cloth fibers are locked into place.
Regular polypropylene woven shade cloth can more easily develop "holes" as
the shade cloth fibers separate over time. PAK Lock's manufacturing
process (called "calendering") virtually eliminates this movement of shade cloth fibers, making
your shade cloth look better and last longer.

available in standard widths that may be sewn together to provide the
desired width. Length may generally be any distance. Shade cloth
manufactures/fabricators have the ability to provide shade cloth with custom widths, lengths, tape, grommets, hemmed edges,
and hems for
rope installation. Other custom features, including irregular shapes,
are available and may be
of benefit to you. We welcome the opportunity to assist you with your
custom shade cloth needs.
